Our Weekly Bible Lesson
In Christian Science, we take the study of the Bible seriously. So much so, that a weekly Bible Lesson is at the core of our Sunday services. And as individuals we study that same lesson every day during the week preceding the service. Many of us have our days and years anchored in the inspiration, understanding, and healing they find in the Lesson.
There are 26 Bible Lesson topics which rotate twice through the year, and address the character of God, creation, and humankind, and the universal power of the Christ. Every lesson is designed to address spiritual law and how we can better practice spiritual healing as exemplified in the career of Jesus Christ. And the Bible Lesson is remarkably relevant to addressing world and community issues, from health care to environmental concerns.
The Christian Science Quarterly makes the Bible lesson available in print or electronic formats. You can read the lesson in a magazine format, read it on your phone or computer, or have the audio version read to you.
