The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Kitchener is a congregation of Christian Scientists who meet twice a week in our church at the corner of Water and Francis Streets, in Kitchener, Ontario.
The Christian Science Church was established by Mary Baker Eddy in the mid-nineteenth century as a church “designed to commemorate the word and works of our Master, which should reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing.”
At our branch church in Kitchener, we actively use Christian healing in our daily lives. We make use of Christian healing as taught in Christian Science, to find solutions to a wide range of relationship and financial difficulties as well as finding and maintaining physical and mental health.
Christian Scientists are your neighbours. We are business owners, parents, active citizens, industry leaders, teachers, professors, labourers. We all express our love of life in different ways: sports, music, community service, among other activities. We strive to maintain a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere in our church. We welcome everyone to join us at our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening church services.
