Our Pastor

Unlike many other Christian denominations, Christian Science churches do not employ a human pastor to lead church services. We see our ‘Pastor’ as two books: the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.

Readings from these two books form the core part of our services and the study of these books guide our individual spiritual growth. The reason for this practice is to let these books, without human interpretation, politics, or agendas, provide a uniform experience across all Christian Science services.

We find it very helpful to have our pastor available 24/7 wherever and whenever we need one.
